Getting Started: The Career Development Life Cycle

The first stage of career development involves introspection and self-evaluation to gain clarity about one’s interests, values, and aspirations.

Students can research various career options and expand their knowledge base by talking with professionals and mentors, attending panel discussions and workshops.

Students can acquire new skills through formal education, training programs, online courses, and hands-on experience through internships

Students enter in one’s chosen field, achieving professional goals or attending graduate school while embracing opportunities for growth and advancement.
