Advocacy, Belonging and Careers (ABC) Program
Registration is now open for Collective Success Network’s (CSN) free Advocacy, Belonging and Career (ABC) program, open to first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) college students and recent graduates who want to find their voice and learn how to advocate for themselves and others. This virtual program is designed to support FGLI students as they make the transition from school into the professional world. Sessions facilitators will include Gorick Ng, best-selling author of “The Unspoken Rules”, and Elliot Felix, author of “How To Get The Most Out Of College”. At the end of the program, students will submit a short policy brief on a topic of their choice. Sessions will cover topics such as:• Overcoming imposter syndrome• Envision a career where you can excel• Speaking up about issues you care about• Having “crucial conversations” with colleagues• Giving and receiving meaningful feedbackThe ABC program will meet virtually on Tuesday evenings from 6 :30 – 8 pm from July 1 to August 5.
