Whether you want to work for a large or small company, non-profit, a startup, or become an entrepreneur, these foundational Excel skills will kick start your professional building blocks so you can comfortably work through a data-related Excel task. This workshop is crafted specifically for intro level Excel learners with minimal to no background in this software.

In this session students will:

– Understand the importance of Excel, different purposes, and explore common hotkeys used to efficiently work through tasks

– Become comfortable with Excel, its features, formulas, formats, and navigations – Learn basic report creation techniques and calculations

– Learn-by-doing taking on a real world basic reporting request to apply the skills while completing a live deliverable

Now in its 9th consecutive year, liberal arts students continue to finish AESOP programs as strong professionals confident in their abilities to tackle the organizational challenges of the modern day. This Academy is led by Haverford ’09 alum Panos Panidis.  Panos has a great deal of industry expertise in consulting, finance, startups, and entrepreneurship and has become a dedicated mentor to supporting liberal arts students as they explore competitive career paths. His passion is to share his years of accumulated technical expertise, professional guidance, and career tips with liberal arts students to help them achieve their professional aspirations early-on.
