About the Internship

We are seeking a motivated **Technical Workforce Software (WFS) Consulting Intern** who is eager to learn how enterprise workforce management systems integrate with HR, Payroll, and broader business platforms. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to **technical consulting, systems integration, data flows, and client delivery** in a real-world environment—while working alongside experienced consultants who will mentor and support your growth.

This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in **HR technology, systems integration, APIs, data management, and client-facing consulting**.

What You will Learn & Do

Technical & Integration Skills Development

  • Learn how Workforce Software connects with HRIS and Payroll systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.
  • Assist with the design, configuration, and testing of system integrations under the guidance of senior consultants.
  • Gain hands-on experience working with **APIs, data files, XML/JSON, and basic middleware concepts**.
  • Support data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting efforts related to integrations and data movement.
  • Observe and participate in technical design and requirements-gathering sessions to understand enterprise architecture and integration needs.

Consulting & Project Experience

  • Collaborate with functional and technical team members to understand how business processes translate into technical solutions.
  • Assist with documentation, including integration designs, configuration notes, and client-facing materials.
  • Learn best practices for system testing, issue resolution, and post-go-live support.
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing, training sessions, and project reviews.

Professional Growth

  • Develop communication skills by working with cross-functional teams and supporting client deliverables.
  • Learn how consultants manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build foundational skills in enterprise workforce management technology and technical consulting.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in HR technology, systems integration, and technical consulting.
  • Basic understanding (or coursework exposure) to one or more of the following:
  • APIs or web services
  • Data structures or databases
  • XML, JSON, or SQL
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

  • Exposure to HR systems, workforce management, or enterprise software (academic or internship experience).
  • Familiarity with integration concepts, ETL processes, or middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) through coursework or projects.
  • Experience with technical documentation or project-based team work.
  • Interest in consulting, client engagement, or enterprise technology delivery.
