Overview

Audacy Austin is seeking an organized, detail oriented and outgoing professional to support our Promotions + Experiences team in promotions, contesting and prize fulfillment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with Market Manager, Brand Manager and Regional Promotions Lead to proactively manage all market needs with regards to events, promotions and contesting
  • Assist in ideation, implementation and management of all contesting and promotions for all stations in the market and within the region when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with Brand Manager on talent communication for events and drive to retail activations
  • Create and communicate a weekly and annual calendar of events and promotions

Work with Market Manager and Brand manager to establish and lead non-profit and event partnerships within the market that will highlight the brands

Work closely with Sales department on drive to retail and event details that need to be communicated to programming and talent

Manage all listener relations, such as answering emails, phone calls, following up with winners for prize fulfillment, and collecting/processing necessary paperwork

Work with Brand Manager on social media copy, graphic design requests, recaps and airchecks

Follow all legal contesting requirements and disclosures with support from legal

Ensure contest and department compliance including but not limited to posting contest rules, material terms, maintaining contest files, and promotional agreements within company policy

Collaborate with Sales and Programming Departments on promotion ideation for client and brand initiatives

Conduct weekly Promotions meeting with core team

  • Other duties assigned by manager

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • First-rate organizational skills are a must to succeed in this position
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, along with Google Workspaces
  • Knowledge of promotion software, including but not limited to Vibes (mobile contesting), Second Street/Aptivada (web contesting and user-generated content engine) and PromoSuite (promotion management software)
  • Occasional night or weekend work
  • Two years’ experience executing marketing and promotions campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications preferred and/or equivalent experience and training
