POSITION PURPOSE

The Marketing Associate position is responsible for a wide range of marketing initiatives, including event coordination, social media, content creation, merchandising, and special projects to support BAC’s business objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

In this role you will work cross-functionally with our sales leaders, product marketing, and vendors to ensure all marketing activities for the Americas are completed smoothly and successfully
* Identify requirements and expectations for each event.

* Prepare and maintain event budgets. Process purchase orders and invoices.
* Research and book venues and hotels including catering, AV, and entertainment.
* Coordinate all logistical elements of the event including shipments.
* Assist in the development of monthly social media calendar and deploy the posts.
* Maintain BAC’s merchandising site to ensure there is diverse and inventory of items.
* Assist in the development of assets for digital and traditional channels.

* Develop and maintain a list of publications and publishers to showcase BAC’s brand/solutions.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The Marketing Associate will report to the Marketing and PR Manager. As part of the Americas team, this position will frequently work with BAC Sales Leaders, Global Business Development, Graphic Designer, Product Marketing, Research & Development, Exhibit Vendors and Sales Representatives.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or Communications
* 1-3 years of experience in Marketing
* Experience in project management, events, asset creation, and social media
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Creative, out-of-the-box thinking
* Attention to detail
* Expert time management skills
* Financial savvy, with the ability to adhere to plan budgets and process invoices
* Excellent project management skills
* Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
* AI savvy as a research tool – the ideal candidate sees AI as a thought partner, not a substitute for judgment
* Proficiency in Hootsuite a plus

* Problem Solving: A creative yet pragmatic and practical problem solver who develops solutions that delight customers and enable channel partners to succeed. Methodical, hands-on and detail-oriented.
* Execution mentality: Excellent planning, execution and project-management skills for fast, efficient and effective management of projects.
* Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact successfully with all levels of management as well as a diverse work force. Leverages the talents of other team members and departments to achieve objectives.
* Ethics: Highest level of professional integrity and honesty, and personal credibility.
* Strategic acumen: Understands strategies and is able to execute and deliver results to support them.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk up to 50% of the time. This position requires occasional lifting up to 30 pounds with travel up to 25% of the time.

BAC Hiring Compensation Range $53,700 – $92,100.
