The business development coordinator will be a central member of our team and be responsible for business development support for our COE head, Jennifer Porter, managing the process for some of our new coaching requests, tracking and reporting on important client information, and working closely with our operations team to ensure we have accurate and reliable data.

Responsibilities include:
- Supporting our COE head with her business development – sending prep emails to clients before meetings, attending client calls and taking/sharing notes, updating Salesforce with new opportunities and contacts, coordinating with account managers on opportunities, tracking important business development data, researching contacts on LinkedIn, scheduling client meetings, and other support as needed.
- Supporting ongoing client relationship management – scheduling meetings, creating and sending agendas and meetings summaries, sharing client updates with relevant coaches, tracking client news (earnings releases, announcements etc.) and sharing the news with relevant coaches, ensuring the accuracy of our client detail tracking including financial information, drafting and updating client scope documents, and setting up, organizing and maintaining the accuracy of client files.
- Supporting marketing to our key prospects and clients – generating and personalizing emails, adding them to Salesforce, tracking which clients receive which emails, updating our newsletter list with new clients and prospects, researching and identifying new potential prospects.
- Managing all details and process steps for new coaching requests – receiving the request, adding it to our database, ensuring all of the details are correct, adding it to Salesforce, making email introductions between clients and our COE team, following up via email with different parties to ensure each step is completed and accurate.
- Tracking and reporting on business development results – entering new and updating existing or changing projects sold into our database (Smartsheets) and Salesforce and reporting on progress vs plans.
- Creating and sending client reports – collecting team member updates on client projects, organizing the information, following up with coaches for missing or confusing information, generating and sending client reports, and responding to ad hoc client data requests.
- Managing various operational, marketing and business development projects – creating project plans, tracking deliverables, communicating progress, and ensuring all activities are completed on time and as planned.
Skills and capabilities required:
- Unfaltering detail orientation – consistently produces accurate, high quality work on time and following instructions.
- Salesforce and Smartsheet – strong skills and experience using Salesforce and Smartsheet successfully.
- Fluency with Microsoft Office – particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint in a Windows environment.
- Financial acumen – experienced and comfortable working with basic financial concepts – revenue, expenses, margin, accounts payable, accounts receivable, etc.
- Independent and self-motivated – likes working on their own and behind the scenes. Experienced and happy working in a virtual environment with most team and client interactions via email.
- Project coordination – skills and experience in administering projects including communicating project details and dates and following up with colleagues to ensure activities are completed on time and with high quality.
- Problem solving and process improvement – intelligent, creative problem-solver that also thinks about how to make processes more effective and/or efficient

The role is 100% virtual, will report to our senior operations manager, and will work closely with our COE head and operations team.
Compensation: $60-70K (salary and bonus) and generous benefits.
