FinServ Consulting is a management consulting firm specializing in the alternative asset management industry. Our clients include the most prestigious hedge funds, private equity funds, asset managers, banks, and service providers in the industry. We deliver on high-impact, business & technology projects for our clients by leveraging our collective insight, vision, and experience.

We are seeking motivated, technically curious, and business-minded individuals to join our team as a Salesforce / Management Consultant. This is an entry-level role designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in building a career at the intersection of technology, consulting, and financial services. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and optimization of Salesforce and technical solutions for leading hedge funds, private equity firms, and financial services organizations.

Limited travel required. Most client engagements are in the tri-state area (i.e. NY, NJ, and CT).

Job Responsibilities

  • Support Salesforce / CRM implementation, enhancement, and managed services projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and deployment
  • Translate business needs into system solutions by analyzing client workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with senior team members on project management activities and deliverables while working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop foundational expertise in Salesforce, data models, and system integrations within financial services environments
  • Consistently deliver high-quality client outcomes while building strong, lasting relationships
  • Contribute to internal firm initiatives, including knowledge development, process improvement, and business development efforts
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to think like an owner, self-teach new skills, and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Work independently and collaboratively to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions in a fast-paced, high-impact consulting environment

Qualifications

Required

  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience with a history of academic excellence (financial services and/or management consulting experience strongly preferred)
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, and/or comparable work experience at a leading consulting firm, hedge fund, private equity firm, global bank, or industry provider
  • A strong interest in technology, particularly Salesforce, CRM systems, and business applications
  • Ability to interface and work directly with C-level executives and senior client management
  • Direct experience in managing clients, customer relationships, and/or sales/marketing
  • Capability to think independently and creatively to solve time-sensitive challenges
  • Advanced exposure to Office tools (Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint)

Preferred

  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar enterprise platforms (coursework, internships, personal projects, or certifications)
  • Technical experience with CRM systems, databases, and core data concepts (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel/VBA, data analysis)
  • Strong business analysis skill set, including process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis/reporting, process flow diagramming, and writing (business requirements documentation, design documents)
  • Exposure to business concepts such as scenario analysis, budgeting, business development, vertical integration, returns on investments, and negotiation
  • Project management experience, including defining and controlling complex project scope, timelines, issues/risks, and managing technical resources
  • Exposure to creating and developing executive presentations, industry white papers, and financial/operating models
  • Experience working with data in a business context, including validation, transformation, reporting, and translating insights into actionable recommendations
