Fisherman’s Post is looking for a qualified, motivated candidate for a part-time position (potential to be full-time) to help continue our company’s sales and marketing success.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop sponsorship/advertising/funding opportunities and solicit sponsors/advertisers
- Sell event sponsorships, web banners, podcast sponsorships, and newspaper ad space
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts
- Work as a liaison between the client and our graphic designer
Potential Responsibilities
- Help push our social media and other marketing efforts
- Assist with new projects such as the podcast and online memberships (video and audio content) and online apparel sales
- Update and maintain digital content
- Assist with planning for and hosting our events (fishing tournaments and fishing schools)
- Distribute our newspaper and other promotional materials along North Carolina’s coast
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication
- Sales (inside and/or outside)
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Highly organized
- Good writing skills
- HubSpot (or similar CRM platform)
- Proficiency in using social media (preferred but not required)
- Constant Contact (preferred but not required)
- Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred but not required)
- Saltwater fishing knowledge (preferred but not required)
