Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and creative Digital Engagement Manager to join IFA. The ideal candidate will be passionate about using digital tools to help amplify our mission and engage our intercessors. This role will support the development and execution of our digital marketing strategy, manage online content, and drive awareness for our campaigns and prayer initiatives through various digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation and execution of digital campaigns that raise awareness for the organization’s mission, programs, and events.

• Create, edit and distribute compelling digital content (e.g., blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, videos) that resonates with our various audiences.

• Coordinate the planning and execution of social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.

• Monitor and analyze key digital metrics (website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and recommend improvements.

• Support the creation of digital fundraising initiatives, including email campaigns, online donation platforms, and event promotions.

• Engage with followers on social media platforms, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, and fostering a positive, supportive online community.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather digital content, including event photos, donor stories, and success stories.

• Help maintain and grow our email marketing program, ensuring the newsletter and other communications are impactful and aligned with our goals.

• Stay informed of the latest digital trends, tools, and best practices, and implement them to continuously improve digital marketing efforts.

• Build and create email campaigns

• Build, create and optimize advertising campaigns

• Design digital graphics as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or related field.

• At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field; nonprofit experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with website management platforms (WordPress) and content management systems (CMS).

• Experience with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar).

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different digital platforms.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks while managing multiple projects.

• Creative thinker with the ability to innovate and experiment with new approaches to engage online audiences.

• A passion for nonprofit work and a genuine interest in advancing social causes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

• Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.

• Knowledge of digital advertising (Facebook Ads, Google Ads) and fundraising strategies.

• Knowledge of email marketing platforms (SendGrid, Mail Gun) and digital fundraising tools.
