Reports to: Sr. Retirement Plan Advisor

Status: Exempt, Full-Time

This role primarily involves supporting Advisors and Partners by managing and facilitating operations and communications within the team and with clients and external stakeholders. The individual in this position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, effective client relations, and compliance with established procedures and standards. They handle coordination tasks, manage client data, and contribute to meeting preparations and documentation, all while maintaining strong relationships with clients, service providers, and financial institutions. This role is pivotal in enhancing team efficiency and client satisfaction. Moneta provides the opportunity for long-term career growth and professional development opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive support in daily operations, assisting Advisors and Partners with a thorough understanding of team processes and procedures.

Serves as a trusted liaison among Advisors, Partners, clients, financial institutions, and service providers, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Develops and maintains knowledge of qualified retirement plans, including 401(k) and Profit Sharing programs.

Establishes and cultivates rapport with all assigned clients, facilitating communication between clients and their Advisors or Partners.

Works directly with third-party Custodians and Advisors to meet critical project and industry deadlines.

Manages client and plan participant communications, addressing inquiries and coordinating additional assistance with Advisors as necessary.

Prepares and organizes client reviews, investment allocation summaries, meeting agendas, executive summaries, and investment performance reports.

Coordinates the scheduling of client reviews, employee education sessions, and internal team meetings.

Assists in executing action items post-client reviews and supports the preparation of client engagement agreements, Investment Policy Statements, vendor agreements, and fee invoices.

Supports new client onboarding, including handling documentation and coordinating introductory meetings.

Collaborates with various team members and departments to ensure accurate data entry and workflow through different reporting systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with an emphasis in Accounting, Business or Finance field

Two or more years of relevant work experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

Experience working in a team environment

Knowledge of Financial Custodial Systems is a plus (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity, etc.)

Ability to come into the office on a regular weekly basis (this position is not remote)

Must be authorized to work in the United States
