Role Overview:
As a PureMaven Marketing Intern – Social Media Creator, you will collaborate with us across our marketing, advertising, and promotional programs, as well as work with our clients. The PureMaven Marketing Internship Program will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies, technology, and tools. PureMaven’s founders have extensive marketing, product management, and technology experience, and you’ll be part of an exciting team that’s going to revolutionize how we all do self-care. Our ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, creative, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about technology and the beauty services industry. The intern must be a self-starter who is curious and eager to learn how to be a part of a successful, high-growth business. Ultimately, you will have responsibilities you can sink your teeth into with much creative input, gain broad experience in marketing and technology, and acquire core marketing, project management, and analytics skills.

- Our internships are designed to give interns the type of experience of a Marketing Associate with 1-2 years of post-undergraduate working experience. This allows them to develop core marketing, research, analytics, and project management skills applicable to a variety of roles.
- Our interns are able to successfully fulfill these responsibilities since they directly report to and are coached by a senior member of the executive team. While most interns report to a manager with 1-4 years of experience, our interns work directly with our executives, all of whom are seasoned professionals with 15+ years of senior leadership experience.
Responsibilities: Support, collaborate, and/or take the lead in the following areas:
- Create omni-channel marketing and advertising campaigns to build up PureMaven’s social media presence in line with PureMaven’s brand values and voice
- Handle graphic projects from start to finish, creating eye-catching videos, graphics, and engaging designs for use on social media platforms and websites
- Manage email marketing campaigns and social media advertising
- Coordinate with Head of Marketing to develop, implement, and manage our social media calendar & strategy
- Attending external events and associated conferences
- Monitoring SEO, Google Analytics, user engagement, and content optimization
- Defining social media KPIs and measuring the success of each social media campaign & account
- Manage and produce email blasts, Newsletters, and blog
- Organize and deliver marketing and corporate events with top clients
- Research and manage outreach to potential brand partners
Requirements:
- Strong desire to learn and collaborate with others

- A multi-tasker with excellent interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
- Passion for the health, beauty, and wellness industry
- Currently enrolled in a related BS or Master’s degree
- Previous experience in graphic design, social media management, and/or marketing
- Knowledge of design, and video/photo/content editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud Suite)
- Excellent team player with multitasking, communication, and time-management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Autonomous individual with visionary ideas to help build the brand and ministry
- Must work well alone and in a team environment
- Must have a creative eye
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Passion for and experience with social media platforms, e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
- This role is unpaid but eligible for expense reimbursement
- Position is remote for the majority of the time; some in-person time may be required on a case-by-case basis, particularly for special marketing events
- 15-19 hours/week for 4+ months
