Responsibilities:

•Analyze competitor offerings to establish a strong competitive advantage.
•Identify potential new part categories or variations that align with the company’s goal.
•Develop and manage product categories, outlining key milestones and launch timelines.
•Collaborate with our extensive international supplier base to ensure parts meet performance standards and cost targets.
•Research and identify parts in current lines to extend and increase our offering.
•Partner with marketing and sales teams to craft compelling product positioning and messaging for target markets.
•Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new part launches.
•Stay at the forefront of the global automotive parts industry, continuously updating your knowledge of the latest trends and regulations.
•Maintain a deep understanding of the evolving automotive landscape, including car parc composition, regional repair needs, and preferred parts features across different markets.
•Analyze product performance after launch to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to optimize sales and market share.
Qualifications:
•Experience in product management, with a strong focus on the automotive aftermarket industry.
•Proven ability to conduct market research and identify opportunities for parts sourced internationally.
•Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
•Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
•Experience working with cross-functional teams across international boundaries, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
•Deep understanding of the automotive aftermarket and replacement parts industry, with a specific focus on the international manufacturing landscape, with an emphasis on China.
•General Knowledge of automotive systems is required.
