Program Overview:
Join the American Educational Ambassador Program and experience the opportunity to teach Chinese students at various educational levels, from kindergarten to university. You will teach English as a Second Language (ESL) or your academic major subject in English. This program nurtures Global Leaders and American Diplomats.
Job Description. All Majors Welcome:
As an Education Ambassador, you will:
- Teach spoken English or your major subject (e.g., English, science, mathematics, history, art, etc.) to Chinese students in English, adapting lesson plans to accommodate different learning levels.
- Design engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students’ needs and promote cross-cultural understanding.
- Work closely with local teachers and participate in school activities to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to help students develop both subject knowledge and English language skills.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including free TEFL training and certification, to improve your teaching techniques.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary: Up to $3,500, depending on qualifications and teaching experience.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher at the time of departure.
- Language Proficiency: Native English speaker without accent.

- Strong leadership and public speaking skills.
- Adaptability to foreign cultures and open-mindedness.
- Ability to engage students and create an interactive classroom environment.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Physically and Mentally Healthy Adults age 21-60.
- Other Requirements: Willingness to commit to a 10-12 month term (renewable).
