Career Fellows | Interns
Benjamin Aronson
Career Fellow
Ben is a sophomore pursuing a double major in economics and philosophy. Over the summer, he interned at Polaris Growth Fund in Boston, a private equity firm specializing in software investments.
Outside of Career Services, Ben is on the cross-country and track and field teams, as well as Clarus Capital, Swarthmore’s investment fund. His hobbies include golf, pickleball, and rock climbing.
Garima Bagdi
Career Fellow
Garima is a sophomore studying engineering. This past summer, she worked as an education policy intern in Delaware, which strengthened her interest in the intersections between public policy and STEM.
Outside of school, she loves watching films, knitting, and finding new songs through friends’ playlists.
Muhammad Saleh Haider
Career Fellow
Saleh is a junior studying Mathematics and economics. He has worked on a Davis Projects for Peace initiative and conducted Lang-funded field research focused on creating a structured curriculum to bridge local knowledge with global tech trends. He also organized a STEM exhibition, combining his interests in tech and education.
Saleh’s broader interests include education equity, networking, finance, and consulting. On campus, you can usually find him playing cricket, involved with i-20 events, searching for the perfect study spot, or even frolicking in the woods. For fun, he enjoys grabbing boba, taking quick Philly trips, and cycling around.
Theodore King-Pollet
Career Fellow
Teddy is a junior pursuing an honors degree in political science with a minor in history. He grew up in Northampton, Massachusetts, but spent much of his childhood abroad in the UK and has roots in New York City. Over the summer, he was a research intern at the Foreign Policy Research Institute in Philadelphia.
Teddy is interested in both domestic and foreign policy and plans to attend law school after Swarthmore. He is a member of the cross-country team and in his free time enjoys playing basketball and exploring Philadelphia.
Agape Umufasha
Career Fellow
Agape is a double major in Global Studies and English Literature from Kigali, Rwanda. This past summer, she returned to her home country to intern with Isomo Academy, an organization focused on bridging the gap between young talent and opportunity.
On campus, you’ll find Agape working as an editor in the Phoenix newspaper, mentoring students at the writing center, working out at the gym, reading a book, or binge-watching her favorite TV show. She is excited to support students’ journeys pursuing their career aspirations.
Max Wheeler
Career Fellow
Max is a sophomore math and engineering major and member of the men’s soccer team. Professionally, he has worked in a search fund and wealth management firm and has conducted math research.
Max enjoys skiing, playing board games, and trying new foods (especially in Philly). He encourages students to stop by the Career Center to chat!
Keyla Peralta-Alberto
Data & Operations Intern
Keyla is a senior majoring in Computer Science and Chinese. Outside of Career Services, she is involved in Women in Computer Science and other CS-related campus activities.
Outside of school, she loves staying active, spending time with friends, and learning about different languages and cultures.

Hello everyone! My name is Kate and I am a senior studying Biology and Statistics. In summer 2025, I worked at K Health as a Data Analytics Intern, which got me excited about bettering healthcare through analytics. Outside of school, I am a violinist in the symphonic orchestra and an avid crafter!
Sophie Davis
Communications & Engagement Intern
Sophie is a sophomore studying film and media studies. She mostly focuses on the production side of film studies, particularly editing and writing.
On campus, Sophie is involved in chorus and the improv comedy group, Vertigo-go. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, drawing, and watching movies.
Katelynne Hailey De Lara
Communications & Engagement Intern
Katelynne is a sophomore from American Samoa majoring in psychology. Outside of Career Services, she is part of the Writing Associates program, FLI Council, and Kapatiran. She was also a social media intern for PHENND through the Lang Center.
In Katelynne’s free time, you can find her reading, listening to music, and taking photos of everyday moments.
Esme Heller
Employer Connections Intern
Esme is a sophomore majoring in economics and cognitive science. She is a class senator for student government, a member of the rock climbing club, and was an international orientation leader. She has also worked on a DC Council campaign and has been volunteering as a network officer with Project Access Finland.
Outside of school, Esme enjoys photography, thrifting, playing guitar, and going to concerts.
