- Meet with a career counselor to begin exploring options. Make an appointment via Handshake.
- Create a resume. Begin filling out your LinkedIn profile with contents from your resume.
- Fill out your Handshake profile to ensure you’re receiving emails about relevant employer events and opportunities.
- Take a mix of qualitative and quantitative classes.
- Summer internship strongly recommended.
- Sophomores
- Apply to exploratory programs. Some focus on diversity and inclusion programs for underclassmen and students of underrepresented backgrounds.
- Get involved in extracurricular activities & research opportunities.
- Start preparing sophomore spring for summer and early fall deadlines junior year.
- Practice MANY case interviews.
- Juniors
- Establish contacts at firms you are interested in.
- Practice MANY case interviews.
- Apply early – deadlines can be in summer before junior year
- Seniors
- Prepare and Apply early – Summer before Senior year.
