Campus Recruiting

Career Services at Swarthmore College offers many ways to enhance your recruiting initiatives and works with our employer partners to find innovative ways to engage with our students.

Engagement Opportunities

  • Campus Interview Days: Held virtually or in-person, a typical recruiting schedule is composed of 13 half-hour interviews from 9:00am – 4:30pm, with a lunch break from noon to 1:00pm. You may pre-select the students for your schedule based on your review of their resumes or conduct open schedules, where students sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Information Sessions: Employers have the opportunity to offer information about their organizations and about positions available by conducting an information session. These sessions, lasting about an hour, can be held virtually or in-person. Sessions are usually held in the early evening hours or during the lunch hour between 12:30 and 1:30 PM.
  • Workshops: Does your company/organization offer professional development opportunities or workshops? Host one with Swarthmore. Similar to information sessions, the best times to host these opportunities are during the early evening hours or during the lunch hour.
  • Resume Referrals: For our employer partners who are limited on time but would like to review resumes of our students and/or alumni, we can collect applications for your open jobs and/or internships. If, after reviewing the resumes, you would like to conduct campus interviews, a date can easily be arranged!

Tri-College Recruiting

The Tri-College Recruiting Consortium, consisting of the career centers of Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College and Swarthmore College, actively seeks to provide students and employers with creative and purposeful ways to engage in meaningful employment conversations and formal recruiting opportunities. We support ethical, equitable and fair recruitment practices without exception. Our recruiting policies, with slight differences, are consistent and congruent among our three peer institutions. We remind all recruiters to review and abide by our policies, using the following links: Bryn MawrHaverford and Swarthmore policies.
