Career Services offers two summer funding opportunities: Swarthmore Future Entrepreneur Program (SFEP) to intern at local start-up companies and the new Career Services Summer Stipend to fund unpaid internships in industries that unable to obtain the funding for meaningful opportunities. Both opportunities award $6,000 for a 10-week opportunity.
Significant funding is also available for a variety of summer opportunities. Each summer, approximately 30% of current Swarthmore students receive funding from the College so that they can participate in these otherwise unpaid experiences. Learn more through the Beyond the Classroom’s (BTC) website. BTC is a committee of departments that work together for students to gain access to Swarthmore summer funding.
