Powerpoint is a universal tool utilized across industries and organizations where employees build out their business stories and communicate key messages using a combination of Powerpoint’s functions and features to generate the content.

Whether in a business, non-profit, small or large organization – being able to articulate on slides an analysis, report, project, proposal/recommendation, research, etc. is a key part of any employee’s function. Translating complex and comprehensive topics into a well-thought single slide is a skill, and when done effectively, can properly capture the audience’ attention and convey your desired message.

As a ‘learn by doing’ training, students will cover:
Common Powerpoint functions and features
Basic slide formatting, common guidelines and efficient slide preparation
Building common slides from scratch, working with Powerpoint tools
Introduction to incorporating metrics, data visualizations and analytics

“I enjoyed the session on Presentations greatly; it was cool to see how relevant design (and artistic skill) is for constructing a well-organized presentation. I feel a lot more comfortable with presentation making in terms of presentation organization, layout and minimizing slide count. I was happy to take a lot of notes.”
Sophia Park, Aesop Academy Student
