Social Media & Creative Production Coordinator
Bossity | Creative Production & Content Studio

Location: San Diego, CA — [hybrid / remote / in-person]
Position type: Part-time
Hours: 10–15 hours per week
Compensation: $19–$25 per hour

About Bossity:

Bossity is a San Diego creative production and content studio helping businesses turn what they do into branded content people connect with. Through photography, video, interviews, event coordination, publishing, and social content, we capture and curate the people, stories, and experiences behind businesses and creative communities.

About the role:

We’re looking for a self-motivated, organized, and multi-faceted person to work closely with founder Nova Renay to grow Bossity’s social presence, curate compelling content, and support our creative projects.

Your primary focus will be social media management, content curation, and business promotion, with hands-on involvement in coordinating client work, nonprofit collaborations, and productions. You’ll help make sure the work we create gets seen—and keep the details moving behind the scenes.

We want to build an ongoing working relationship with someone who takes initiative and is excited to grow with our small in-house team.

Skills & Interests:

– Strong Copywriting: Writes engaging hooks, captions, and promotional copy while adapting to distinct brand voices for Bossity and our clients.
– Content Curation and Publishing: Identifies standout photos, videos, and stories; organizes creative assets; and prepares approved content for publishing across channels.
– Strong Social Media Skills: Builds content calendars, plans rollout campaigns, supports community engagement, and uses performance insights to improve reach and connection.
– Project Management: Coordinates tasks, timelines, deliverables, and approvals across client, nonprofit, and internal projects, following up with collaborators to keep the team on schedule.
– AI & Creative Workflows: Willing to learn how to build and refine AI brand voice agents for Bossity and ongoing clients, using guidelines and editorial judgment. Explores AI workflows for content planning and creative asset management.
– Business Promotion: Brings fresh ideas for showcasing Bossity’s services and work, reaching potential clients, and building creative partnerships.

Bonus Skills: Photo editing, basic video editing, and experience with Canva, Photoshop, Google Workspace, or social media tools. Student organizations, personal projects, and small-business accounts all count as relevant experience.

Personality Fit:

– Self-Motivated & Proactive: Notices what needs attention, takes initiative, and follows through.
– Organized & Dependable: Balances creative work with deadlines and keeps commitments.
– Clear & Collaborative: Communicates openly, asks thoughtful questions, and feels comfortable following up with teammates.
– Versatile & Quick to Learn: Enjoys learning new skills, wearing different hats, and supporting the production process as a whole.
– Curious & Receptive: Welcomes feedback, experiments with ideas, and learns from results.
– Invested in Growing Together: Values an ongoing working relationship and is excited to contribute to Bossity’s growth.

What you’ll gain:

Direct collaboration and mentorship with Bossity’s founder, hands-on experience in social media and creative production, and room to take on more responsibility as our working relationship develops.

How to apply:

Apply through Handshake with your resume, a short note about why this role interests you, and 2–3 examples of content, social accounts, or creative projects you’ve contributed to. Tell us what you worked on and what you helped make happen.
