FITZCO

Hungry, curious, growing and never satisfied. That’s Fitzco, a fully integrated agency with combined capabilities across advertising, strategic planning, media, digital, social, creative technology, performance marketing and design. It’s easy to say that we offer an integrated team.

It’s another thing to watch that integration in action. At Fitzco, you’ll notice right away an intimacy in how our media, brand strategy, and creative departments work together in concert.

*This is a full time, hybrid role based in Atlanta. We’re in the office Tuesday and Thursday each week.*

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Junior Copywriter, coming right out of school, you’ve mastered making fake ads. Now it’s time to master making real ones. And that means learning how an agency works, what it takes to sell an idea, what it takes to produce your work. All while having great ideas. At this point in your career, you may have to work harder than other people at the agency to have a great idea, because you’re still getting the hang of it. And that’s OK, you just have to put in the work.

You take care of the day-to-day smaller but important projects you’re given, and you’re hungry for more than just that. You handle and thoughtfully incorporate feedback quickly and smartly. Even when things are stressful, you have a great attitude. You ask for help or clarification when you need it. You make yourself available and jump in on every opportunity.

And don’t forget what made making fake ads fun – bring that spirit to your job. Making ads for a client can be just as fun, and as an agency, we gravitate towards ideas that would be fun or exciting to make.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Concept/make culturally relevant, famous work that solves clients’ business problems.
  • Develop and produce concepts across a number of brands and clients.
  • Collaborate with strategy, account and media to create smart integrated thinking.
  • Present concepts to creative leads for input and approval.
  • Manage and incorporate feedback thoughtfully and quickly.
  • Stay current on latest trends and competitive work.
  • Think proactively.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Portfolio of provocative smart work showcasing both conceptual chops and the ability to write in several different brand voices across several different mediums
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with high energy and an insatiable hunger for more
