In this role you will
- Build compelling business cases using data, models, and strong business logic
- Solve open-ended business problems with structured thinking and analytics
- Collaborate with data scientists and clients to develop actionable strategies

Examples of typical projects
- Collaborate with the executive team of a pharmacy to redefine their overall business strategy
- Assist a major beer company in launching a new brand in the Canadian market
- Support a leading home improvement retailer in developing their e-commerce strategy
- Develop store opening strategy for a major grocery chain
- Optimize the brand and merchandising portfolio for a retail apparel chain
- Help in the rebranding, launch, strategy development, and performance tracking of a new credit card program

What we are looking for
- A minimum of a degree in Business, Economics, Math, Engineering, or related field is required. Candidates with master’s or PhD qualifications are also encouraged to apply
- Above-average academic performance (GPA/transcript required)
- A genuine passion for data, analytics, and problem-solving
- Analytical mindset with a strong sense of curiosity and logical approach
- Strong quantitative reasoning skills and proficiency in Excel
- Clear communication and storytelling ability
- Comfortable with a demanding schedule (typically 9am–7pm) that comes with fast-tracked growth and project ownership from day one
- Bonus: Exposure to SQL, PowerBI or equivalent skills welcomed but not required
Compensation
- Starting annual salary ranges from $70,000 to $120,000, depending on experience, qualifications and expertise. Health, vision, and dental benefits are included. Compensation is reviewed regularly for equity and fairness, with a clear path to $140,000+ in five years through promotions and performance-based growth.
- Fusion also offers company stock options or purchase of company shares to employees.
