ABOUT HOMESPUN KITCHEN

Homespun Kitchen is a growing Jacksonville-based fast-casual restaurant company built around a simple idea: Real food. Real fast. We operate a scratch kitchen focused on fresh, high-quality food served quickly, and we are entering an exciting stage of growth with new locations planned.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a smart, organized and motivated Marketing Operations Coordinator to help turn our marketing ideas into action.

This is not an internship or a role where you’ll spend your time watching someone else do marketing. You’ll work directly with Homespun’s founder and help execute real marketing initiatives across our restaurants. You’ll have the opportunity to see how marketing ideas move from strategy to execution, measure what actually works, and help build the marketing systems of a growing restaurant company.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Help manage and execute our marketing calendar
  • Build and send email marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate and schedule social media content
  • Execute in-store promotions, signage, QR codes and marketing materials
  • Help grow our catering business through prospecting, outreach, sample drops and follow-up
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, gyms and community partners
  • Coordinate projects with designers, photographers and other creative partners
  • Help organize our growing library of marketing ideas, content and assets
  • Track campaign results and prepare simple weekly marketing reports
  • Help test new marketing ideas and determine what actually drives customer traffic and sales
  • Assist with marketing for new restaurant openings, including pre-opening community outreach and customer list building

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You don’t need years of marketing experience. We care more about potential, organization, curiosity and follow-through.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • A strong written and verbal communicator
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects
  • Self-motivated, dependable and able to follow through
  • Comfortable with technology and AI tools
  • Interested in marketing, hospitality, restaurants and/or entrepreneurship
  • Excited by the opportunity to test ideas, measure results and improve what we do

Current marketing students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

You’ll work directly with the founder of Homespun Kitchen and get hands-on experience executing real marketing initiatives with measurable business results. Rather than working on hypothetical projects, you’ll help execute campaigns involving real customers, restaurant locations, catering growth, new-store openings and a growing local brand.

Homespun is entering an exciting growth stage, and this role has the opportunity to grow in responsibility as the company expands.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

During the first 90 days, we expect this person to help establish a consistent marketing calendar and recurring execution cadence, begin producing simple weekly marketing reporting, and help us run measurable marketing experiments rather than simply creating activity. The goal is to learn what drives customer engagement, traffic, catering business and sales — and then do more of what works.

POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Approximately 20–25 hours per week, with flexibility around school and other commitments.

Compensation: $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Review: 90-day performance review with the opportunity for increased responsibility and performance-based incentives as the role develops.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida. The role will include work with our restaurant locations and local community, so this is not designed as a fully remote position.

Homespun Kitchen is an equal opportunity employer.
