KOBI-TV/NBC5, an Emmy Award-winning television station, is seeking a creative and motivated Creative Services Producer to join our video production team.
This position provides an opportunity to develop creative content from concept through completion, including writing, shooting, directing, and editing video projects for station clients, on-air promotions, and long-form productions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce creative video content for station clients and KOBI-TV/NBC5.
- Write, shoot, and edit commercials, promotional spots, and long-form video projects.
- Develop creative concepts and translate them into compelling video content.
- Operate professional cameras and production equipment.
- Edit video using Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Assist with lighting, directing, motion graphics, and other aspects of video production.
- Work collaboratively with clients and station staff to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Maintain a high level of creativity, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout the production process.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of video production experience; college projects may be considered.
- Working knowledge of 4K DSLR cameras and professional video production equipment.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A college or trade school degree in video production, communications, broadcasting, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with writing, directing, lighting, and motion graphics production is preferred.
SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position, with hours primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Some evening shoots and overnight road trips for out-of-town productions may be required.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Because KOBI-TV/NBC5 is an FCC-licensed television station, certain federal requirements apply to employment. Candidates offered employment must successfully complete the station’s pre-employment screening requirements, which include:
- A 10-panel drug screen, including marijuana, in accordance with applicable federal requirements
- A three-year driving record check
- A seven-year criminal background check
- Verification of a valid driver’s license
