About LeadIQ

LeadIQ is a VC-funded AI startup that helps sales teams find and reach the right people. We have two product lines, data and software, and this role drives pipeline for both.

The role

This is a team of one. You’ll be the first person at LeadIQ focused only on generating pipeline, and you’ll do the work yourself, from the idea to the campaign to the customer conversation. You won’t be designing processes for someone else to run, and you won’t be waiting on engineering or marketing to ship.

Your time is split roughly evenly between our data and software product lines. You’ll build new-business pipeline and bring in early customers for both.

You’ll report directly to Tyler Lang, our COO, and take day-to-day campaign priorities from the leaders of each product line, working closely with our VP of Revenue and VP of Growth & Partnerships.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, build and launch outbound and digital campaigns across email, LinkedIn and webinars.
  • Talk to customers and prospects directly: cold calls to test a message, discovery conversations and meetings.
  • Pull and analyze your own data with SQL to choose targets and measure results.
  • Build your own landing pages, write your own copy and create your own content.
  • Use AI to stand up automations and experiments without waiting on engineering.
  • Support events before and after they happen: promotion, follow-up and pipeline capture.
  • Report weekly on what you shipped, what worked and what you’ll change.

How you’ll work: AI-first

You’ll use Claude, an AI assistant, as your primary operating system. Claude connects directly to the tools you’ll use every day, including Salesforce, Outreach, LeadIQ and Linear. From one place, you’ll research accounts, build campaigns, analyze results and track your work.

We expect you to be comfortable building things yourself. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you shouldn’t be blocked by not having one.

How success is measured

  • Pipeline generated across both product lines
  • New early customers and design partners brought in for our software product line
  • Campaigns shipped, and how well they perform

This role is a bet on one focused person moving pipeline for two product lines at once. If it works, it becomes the foundation of a larger growth team.

Compensation

Base salary: $120,000–$175,000, plus a performance bonus with a target of 15% of base, tied to the success measures above.

Where a hire lands in this range depends on their experience level and where they live. This role is open to candidates in these metro areas:

  • San Francisco Bay Area
  • Los Angeles
  • New York City
  • Austin
  • Denver

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and performance bonus
  • Comprehensive health, dental and vision insurance
  • Generous vacation and paid time off
  • Flexible, remote work schedule
  • Professional development and room to grow in a fast-moving environment

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone at the point between senior individual contributor and strategic leader: ready for more ownership, and still eager to do the work themselves. You’re likely a fit if you are:

  • A builder: you’ve shipped campaigns end to end, including the data, the page, the copy and the follow-up.
  • Technical enough to self-serve: you’re comfortable with SQL, landing-page tools and AI automation.
  • Comfortable on the phone: talking directly to customers energizes you.
  • Data-driven: you set a hypothesis, measure it and kill what isn’t working.
  • A self-starter: you work well with clear goals and little structure.

What you bring

  • 4 to 7 years in pipeline-generating roles at B2B companies: growth marketing, demand generation, outbound, or an SDR/BDR path that grew into campaign ownership.
  • At least 2 years owning campaigns end to end, from targeting and copy through launch and results, with pipeline you can point to.
  • Working SQL. You can pull and join your own data without help.
  • Hands-on with go-to-market tools: a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot) and a sales engagement platform (for example Outreach).
  • You’ve built things yourself: landing pages, simple automations, or AI-driven workflows.
  • Comfortable on live calls with prospects and customers.

Nice to have: experience selling or marketing to sales, RevOps or GTM buyers, or at a data or sales-tech company.

This role is not a fit for someone looking to manage a team or hand work off to others.

Location

This is a full-time, remote role. You’ll need to live in one of these metro areas: the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, New York City, Austin or Denver.

Hiring process

  1. A call with Tyler Lang, COO
  2. A call with Jon Dwyer, Sales Consultant
  3. A panel interview with Tyler, Mike Lynch (Head of Revenue) and Jon
  4. Reference checks and a decision
