Who We Are:

STEER Partners is a boutique strategy consulting firm located in Boston, MA. Our team has a variety of experience working on projects for mid-market companies and private equity firms. We work closely with our clients to understand their goals and challenges, framing an effective approach to reach key objectives. We advise our clients on their most critical issues and opportunities, developing data-driven recommendations and utilizing our deep industry knowledge to provide actionable insights. Our expertise includes consumer products, healthcare, industrial markets, education and business services. We have proven to help clients strategically approach challenging business opportunities.

What We Are Looking For:

STEER Partners is looking for a Consultant to join our firm. You will have the opportunity to join our unique, entrepreneurial consulting firm that works with leading Private Equity firms and mid-market corporates in areas of transaction support and growth strategy. We are customer-facing group, and have an important role in driving shorty, medium, and long-term revenue for the company. This individual will be involved in project execution / management, creative problem solving, engagement scoping / proposal writing, internal and external stakeholder management as well as contributing to overall firm building initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years post-undergrad with experience working at a strategic consulting firm
  • Ideally, prior experience in commercial diligence / strategic due diligence assignments (quick time-frames 2–4-week projects) or growth strategy-oriented projects
  • Strong project management and leadership skills (managing Associates and Research Analysts)
  • Effective client presentation skills and ability to work towards being a liaise with clients
  • Ability to generate impactful insights on projects through rigorous data analysis and research
  • Mentor and develop the junior team
  • Willingness to get involved in business development
  • Must be willing to be based in Boston
  • Pay will be commensurate with experience
